MILLIS MOHAWK BOOSTERS DISBURSEMENT GUIDELINES

Millis Mohawk Boosters distributes its funds in a variety of ways to  support all athletic programs at Millis Middle and High School,  including but not limited to: 

• Purchase of Varsity Jackets for all MHS athletes earning a minimum of  three varsity letters 
• Team equipment requests 
• Athlete Support; i.e. helping an athlete with costs to travel to a high  school national competition. 
• Purchases/contributions that support the Athletic Department as a  whole including the scoreboard in the gym and a new ice machine and  golf cart for the athletic trainer. 

Millis Mohawk Boosters may award funds for special projects that benefit the athletic programs at the Millis High School, upon request. To make a funding request: 

1. Fill out the request form (below) and submit to the Millis  Mohawk Boosters or a Millis Boosters Member. 
2. Millis Mohawk Boosters will consider the request at its monthly  meeting

The Millis Mohawk Boosters will judge funding requests based on the following criteria: 

• The dollar amount of the request 
• The item has a positive impact on the sports program and involves  expenditure beyond what is currently being funded by the MHS operating budget 
• The item benefits a considerable number of MHS athletes and is useful across multiple sports 
• The item provides a permanent improvement 

Funding requests that are not normally funded by Millis Boosters: 

• Items that are currently provided as a budgeted expense of the MHS  athletic department 
• Items that are related to the uniforms and standard equipment of  athletic teams 
• Items considered the personal property of the individual athlete which  are not turned back in at the end of a season.
